Poplar Bluff, MO-Kenneth Towne, 48 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 25, 2010.

Mr. Towne was born on March 28, 1960 in Hudson, NY the son of Alice (Matthews) Towne of Clinton and the late Howard F. Towne, Sr.

Kenneth worked as a truck driver for several years. He loved the mountains and wild life and also enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Besides his mother of Clinton he is survived by his seven brothers and two sisters, Howard F. Towne, Jr and his wife Stella of Ansonia, William Towne and his wife Jane of Caanan, Donald Towne and his wife Sandy of Colbrook, Kevin Towne and his wife Patricia of Bethany, Juanita Towne Keroski and her husband Tom of Thomaston, Cheryl Towne Brooks of Prospect, David Towne and his wife Frances of Derby, Dale Towne of Clinton and Darryl Towne of Tyler, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 5-7:30 p.m.
