Naugatuck-Maria D. (Vicente) Adams, 64 of 300 Donovan Rd passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

Mrs. Adams was born on September 25, 1945 in Salamanca, Spain daughter of the late Rafael and Julia (Gonzalez) Vicente. She was employed by Ward Leonard Electric Company in Thomaston. She was a member of the Naugatuck Garden Club and numerous other community service projects.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel F. Adams and his wife Maggie of Brooklyn, NY and James Adams and his wife Angela of St. Louis, MO, her two granddaughters Madeleine and Mia and many other family members in both Spain and Brazil.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 9:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 338 North Main Street Naugatuck. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m.
