Stacey L. (Glaser) Aresta
1972 - 2020

Naugatuck, CT Stacey (Glaser) Aresta, 48 years old, a longtime resident of Naugatuck, Connecticut, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 25, 2020, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. Stacey was born April 10, 1972 in New Haven, Connecticut, and spent her childhood years in Wallingford, CT.

She was very lucky to have found the love of her life at the age of 18. She loved family, and was so proud to become a mom to three beautiful children, who completed her life. She not only loved her own children, she loved all children and enjoyed being silly and playful with kids of all ages.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Mark Aresta; her children, Trevor, Teresa, and Elizabeth who have blessed her with so many happy days and smiles. Her mother, Sandra (Swol) Glaser; her father, Thomas Glaser; two sisters who have always been there for her every day, Shelly (Glaser) McNulty and Christine (Glaser) Morris and her caring supportive brother-in-law, David Morris. Her mother-in-law, Janet Aresta and father-in-law, John Aresta who meant more to her than they will ever know; her brother-in-law, John Aresta and wife, Brenda Aresta. Her nieces, Eireann, Meaghan, Shannyn and nephews, Sean, and Marky whom she shared so many smiles with. Her best of friends, Michelle, Craig, Fred, Danielle and Nicholas Karen, Lisa, Rich and Karen. Along with too many friends to list who will and always had a piece of her heart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Everyone attending will be required to wear a facial covering and to adhere to social distancing policies. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers and to honor Stacey’s memory, please make a donation to a trust fund that will be set up in her name by sending contributions to Mark T. Aresta, 163 Marbern Lane, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
