Thomas  Hicks
Plant City, Florida - Mr. Thomas H. Hicks, age 39, passed away unexpectedly November 14,2009. He was the son of the late Thomas R. Hicks and Lorraine Hicks of Plant City, Florida.
> Mr. Hicks was born November 28,1969 in Bridgeport, Ct. He moved with his family to Prospect, Ct. in 1970 where he lived until moving to Florida in 1990. He was a 1897 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, attended the University of Hartford and received a degree in computer drafting from TCI in Hartford.
> While growing up in Prospect Tom and his family were very active in little league and Pop Warner football. They were also members of St. Anthony's Parish.
> Tom was an avid Nascar fan and a life long Dallas Cowboys Fan.
> Tom was happiest out on his boat bass fishing or salt water fishing for the "big one". Uncle Tommy loved helping his four nephews catch catfish and turtles at grandma and grandpa's house and teaching them bowling on the WII game. Tom was employed at Ford Motor Credit in Tampa and previously worked for Home Depot in Tampa.
> Tom leaves behind his Mother: Lorraine Hicks of Plant City, Fl. , his sister: Anne Hicks of Val Rico, Fl., his sister: Lori (Hicks) Grant and her husband Shane of Woodbury, Ct. and his four cherished nephewsTyler, Shane. Austin and Logan (affectionately known as Bubba). He also leaves a daughter: Claire Oliver-Hicks of North Carolina.
> A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 6,2009 at 5 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Froiends may call at the funeral home on Sunday December 6 from 3 to 5 p.m.
> Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of America online at www.epilepsyfoundation.org/local/connecticut/donations.cfm
