Condolence: Dear Filippone Family,

My name is Hem Merriman and I travelled with your Dad for years when we worked together at Scovill. I was so saddened to read of your loss of him. Bob and I got along like two peas in a pod and had a great time together. We travelled all over the US, England, Italy and were scheduled to go to Australia when I left Scovill.
When I was on the road with him, it seemed like I was with family. Your Dad had the best sense of humor, a great smile, a kind and gentle nature and everywhere we went doing audits, we were greeted with open arms.
He taught me much and I am a better person for knowing your Dad and working with him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this terrible time with the loss of your Dad.

Condolence From: Pat & Barbara Parziale
Condolence: To The Family and Friends of Bob Filippone,

I can't begin to express our shock and sadness at the news of Bob's passing. It seems like yesterday that I was just on the phone with Bob, arranging for him to prepare our yearly taxes, but also having a wonderful visit with him, on the phone, laughing and joking about various things. We lived right down the road from Bob, up in the East Mountain section of Waterbury, for over 40 years. However, we moved down to Venice, FL about 2 years ago. In spite of the distance, Bob continued to prepare our taxes. He also prepared my Dad's taxes, right up until the time my Dad passed away. We not only had a business relationship, but Bob was a good friend for so many years.

We both wish that we could be there to express these condolences in person, but please accept our most sincere sympathy and prayers during this most difficult time. Bob will be so sadly missed. God rest his soul.
