I had the pleasure of volunteering with Betty numerous times at The Palace, the last time being three weeks ago for SOUTH PACIFIC. As I had already seen the show, I told her to go on inside and watch it. When she came out I asked her how she liked it.....she replied "awesome". That was Betty, always nice to be around. Afterwards I tried to walk her to her car across the street, which I did for a little bit.......she told me to go on back, as a policeman was there if she needed anyone. Always independent. So, this will be my last memory of her. May God bless Betty and her family and give them strength in the upcoming days. She will be sorely missed.
