Watertown - Maurice R. (Moe) Levesque, 64, died February 7, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital of Covid and Pneumonia. Moe is survived by his wife of 29 years Lorraine “Raine” Dunbar Levesque. They resided in Middlebury for 15 years, moving to Watertown in 1999, where they were currently living. Moe was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on August 8, 1956 to Lucienne (Roy) Levesque and the late Vaughn Levesque who passed away the same week as Moe.

Moe attended Naugatuck Schools, graduating from Naugatuck High School in 1974. He had a long career as a tool setter at Prime and Sperry and then retiring from R&R manufacturing. He was a member of the NRA and an avid Corvette enthusiast, having owned many “Vettes” throughout his life, and winning many trophies at car shows. Moe was a huge NASCAR fan. He was a movie buff and loved listening to Rock music.

His greatest pleasure was loving and caring for his wife and spending time with their friends, “the usual suspects” and entertaining at their home in “Moe’s Bar”, playing cards, bowling, playing pool and going out to dinner. There were many vacations enjoyed with Raine and friends to many islands, Europe and cruising the world.

Moe will be sadly missed and remembered for his thoughtfulness and generosity, always purchasing anything that reminded him of a friend or loved one.

In addition to his wife, Raine, and mom, Lucienne, Moe is survived by his sister, Florence Albon, his step children; Ryan Dunbar and Amy Baukat, his daughter, Stephanie Levesque, his nephew, Scott Albon, and three grandchildren. In addition to his father, Vaughn, he was predeceased by his nephew, Ryan Albon and his infant grandson, Joseph Dunbar.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or ASPCA, https://secure.aspca.org/donate/donate.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 9:30am at St. Francis of the Assisi Church, 318 Church St, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
