NAUGATUCK — Mr. Joseph Dana, 69, passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Kathy (Bird) Dana.

Mr. Dana was born Sept. 7, 1942, in Waterbury, a son of the late Frank Sr. and Serfina Dana. He was a former employee of Mattatuck Mfg.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son, Joseph Dana Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Naugatuck; his daughter, Laurel Dana of Bridgeport; two brothers, Frank Dana of Prospect and Tony Dana of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and John Dana. He is also survived by his former wife, Carol Marks of Ansonia. He was predeceased by one brother, Sal Dana.

Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, is in charge of the arrangements.
