My deep condolences to my cousins and their families on the loss of Aunt Mary. I remember her from when the Bretvick clan went to Connecticut when we were kids, and playing with all of our cousins. I had written to aunt Mary yearly when we started our family. I sent my usual letter this year, but it came back to me, which caused me to wonder where she was. I found out today from another cousin that she passed on June 19th, while I was out of town. I will miss sending letters to her. I found some of her letters and Christmas cards recently while cleaning, and noted her beautiful handwriting then. condolences to Tommy and Louie and the families. Lynn (Bretvick) Handy

I have many memories of Mary. I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of her doctor visits at the M.D. I work for, many years ago. We sat and chatted for sometime. She was interesting and cordial. We talked about her family and her love for them. She spoke of her husband who she missed so very much. She shared her caring for her brother in law who would go out of his way to take her to her appointments. She spoke of her son , who lived with her and what a great chef he was always cooking meals for her. We cried at the loss of her daughter together. She became a dear friend of mine through a chance meeting. We often spoke for up to an hour on the phone. She asked me to pray for her - and , I assured her that everyday I was praying for her health and happiness as well. I know she had some struggles and health issues in her life- but she always managed to smile. She once told me of a scam artist who was to build her a ramp at her house - but- took the money and failed to build the ramp. She , herself fought for justice- made phone calls and, got her money back. Small but mighty- that's my Mary. I will miss her phone calls- and, , at work ,we will all miss her a great deal. My sincere condolences to Marys' family - I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of my cute little friend who was often an inspiration to me!!! Gayle C.
