Naugatuck, CT Connie M. Oliveira, 51, died unexpectedly on May 25, 2021 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Connie was born June 15, 1969 in Venezuela a daughter of Maria E. Oliveira and the late Francisco F. Oliveira. Connie lived in Naugatuck most of her life; graduated from Naugatuck High School, attended Western Connecticut State University and worked for Hartford HealthCare for over 25 years. Connie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church and was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt who loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving mother Maria, she leaves her brother, Frank Oliveira and his wife Lisa; her sister, Maria A. Rodrigues; her beloved nieces and nephews, Carissa Oliveira, Christopher Rodrigues, Amanda Oliveira and Natalie Rodrigues and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Everyone is kindly asked to meet directly at church, where facial coverings and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Connie’s memory, contributions can be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury, CT 06706.
