Nicholas was a loving gentle young man, I am his Grandmother writing this. He was a joy to be around, fun to be with, fun to watch with his sisters and nieceSkyler, nephew Lincoln and so gentle with baby Millie. He loved being around all of the family. I have many memories, too many to share, but all to be treasured in my heart. I will miss your hugs and I love you Gram , even on the phone. God and the angels are with you now, I love you and know we will meet again and get that special hug and kiss on the top of my head.❤️❤️❤️

I just learned today of the passing of Nick and it is so sad. Nick was a joy to work with at the Forge here at the Abbey, So talented, affable, great with my younger apprentices who looked up to him, not just because he was so tall, but because he was generous with his friendship. I will keep him and you all in my prayers and let the rest of the smith's know and ask them to pray as well. This is a very hard time for you all. Anything I can do, please contact me. Maybe a Mass can be offered here for Nick. I think he'd like that.
With Love,
Sr. Anastasia, O.S.B.
