Obituary for James D. Noonan

Prospect- James Daniel Noonan, 79, of 2 Farmwood Drive, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Paradigm Healthcare.

Mr. Noonan was born on April 25, 1930 in Manhattan, NY a son of the late Daniel and Josephine (Kuber) Noonan.
He was a US Army Vet having served with the Fighting 69th out of NY. He was a member of the VFW in Barnegat, NJ and the Fighting 69th Alumni Association.

He is survived by three sons, Joseph G. Noonan of Prospect, Daniel Noonan of Waterbury and James D. Noonan of Melbourne, FL, two daughters, Sue Noonan of New Milford and Kathleen Webster of Bethany, two sisters, Arlene Cavallo Littleneck, NY,and Evelyn Fitzsimmons both of Commack, NY, three brothers, Christopher Noonan of MI, Terrance Noonan of Alexandria, VA and Cornelius Noonan of Manhattan, NY, seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one daughter, Fortune Ricci and one sister Rosemary Prasse of Los Angeles, CA. He was also predeceased by his long time companion, Claire Flynn of Barnegat NJ.

The funeral will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church for a mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 4-8 p.m.
