The Oxford Historical Society was greatly saddened with the news of Barbara's passing. She was such a joy to work with at the annual fiber festival. She was not only knowledgeable, but friendly and happy to help everybody. We learned much from her work with spinning wheels, looms, and even flax production and preparation. Her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of many traditional fiber artists. We will miss her and the joy she spread to others. Our prayers go out to her family at this difficult time.

I loved listening to Barbara share about her looming at our last family reunion. Barbara loved the simple things in life, faith, family, fellowship. It was always fun to see her crops and her handiwork.
