East Otis, MA Judith A. “Judy” Lubanda, 56, died peacefully on July 6, 2019 at Hartford Hospital.
Judy was born on December 17, 1962 in Waterbury, CT a daughter of the late James and Ann (Thompson) Cross. Judy lived in East Otis for the past 10 years having lived most of her life in Naugatuck, CT and she worked at Boise Cascade in Westfield, MA.
Judy is survived by her son, Donald N. Lubanda, Jr. (Danyel Tierney); her daughter, Maryann Lubanda (Michael Gunthrop); her grandchildren, Jordan Gunthrop, Sean Lubanda, Greyson Lubanda and Jalen Gunthrop; her partner, Richard Veselic; her brother, James Cross (Charlene Cross); her sisters, Cathy Cross and Sherrie Cross (Bob Wilson); her husband, Donald N. Lubanda, Sr. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT. Memorial contributions to honor Judy’s memory can be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708.
