Waterbury, CT Stephen J. Sorbo, 34, died Monday January 14, 2019 after a long battle with asthma.
Stephen was born on April 7, 1984 in Waterbury the son of Lucy DeLorenzo and the late John P. Sorbo and had lived in Waterbury all of his life.
In addition to his mother, Stephen is survived by his sons, Nathan, Kayden and Anthony; his brother, Francis Bonacassio; several aunts and uncles in the DeLorenzo Family, cousins and his beloved dog, Romeo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Patrick Church/St. Blaise Parish, 50 Charles Street, Waterbury. Everyone attending is kindly asked to meet at church. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
