Obituary for Darlene A. Donovan (Myers)
Naugatuck – Darlene (Meyers) Donovan, 63, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at The Hospital of Central CT., surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael Donovan.
Mrs. Donovan was born on March 25, 1951 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Henry and Jeanne (Buddenhagen) Meyers. She was employed by the Stork Club Child Care& Development Center of Cheshire.
Besides her husband, Darlene is survived by her two sons, Michael Jr. and Ryan, her two daughters, Tara and Kelly Donovan and her sister, Deborah Zalik and her husband Christopher. She will also be missed by her granddaughter, Cailin.
The funeral for Mrs. Donovan will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until departure.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or ASPCA P.O. Box 96929 Washington, DC 20090-6929.̃
