Prospect-Catherine (Bonacassio) Guerreiro, 71 passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 29, 1941 in Waterbury, Connecticut daughter of the late Ralph Bonacassio and Stella (Rosato) (Bonacassio) Fratti of Waterbury. She was the loving wife of John Guerreiro, a devoted mother and a wonderful grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, John Guerreiro, of Prospect, four daughters, Lori Laurencelle and her husband Jim of Wolcott, Julie Filaski and her husband Robert of New Jersey, Sandra D'Amelio and her husband Tony, of Prospect, Carrie LaMontagne and her husband Dan of Wolcott, one son, John Guerreiro and his wife Abbey of Bethlehem. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and her sister Lucille McEnerney of Prospect.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect on Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
