Condolence From: MaryAnn Peck
Condolence: Dearest Beatrice, Richard and Geri. I've so much to share but simply can't at this time. Let it be known, however, that in my 22 years as a Nurse, I have never met one who was so brave, so determined to live, to beat Cancer. I've learned so much from Ruth, for one...No one has a crystal ball that will dictate when the day will come....The final day..Ruthi, it seems, never dwelt on that. She loved life, and fought a battle that could never be won. BUT for the last several years, despite her suffering, she did succeed, for as long as it was possible. I salute her for this. I can't imagine at the moment, that I would ever be able to accomplish this couragous and remarkable feat...She was truly an exception....

Condolence: Dear family, Ruthie will be deeply missed. I first met her thru a mutual friend, Mary Ann Peck. We would meet at the single dances. We all enjoyed dancing and each others company. In the last 3 years after I was married we would still meet for girls time together and when cancer hit me 1 and 1/2 yrs. ago I felt a special bond with Ruthie. She was an inspiration to me while I went thru my Chemo as she was always a determined fighter herself. Unfortunately Ruthie's cancer was more progressive and it is hard to understand God's plan sometimes but it is always in his hands.
