Watertown, CT L. Paul Freyermuth, 77, husband of Rose Mary (Fitzgerald) Freyermuth, died peacefully in his home on June 5, 2018 in Watertown, CT.

Paul was born on May 12, 1941 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Louis and Anita (Foetsch) Freyermuth. Paul was a long time resident of Naugatuck, CT and in later years enjoyed splitting his time between Florida and Connecticut. Paul spent much of his career and retired from Timex, where he had the opportunity to travel to many international locations. In his free time Paul enjoyed golfing with friends, following his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his sons and granddaughters. He was a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masons and the Royal Order of Jesters.

In addition to his wife Rose Mary, Paul is survived by his sons, Stephen Freyermuth and his wife, Darlene, and Paul Freyermuth, his wife Michele, and granddaughters, Alex and Kate.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Calling hour is Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and to honor Paul’s memory, contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org/donate.
