Obituary for Carol L. Jandrok
NAUGATUCK- Carol L. (Norman) (Ekberg) Jandrok, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born in Waterbury on December 5, 1942, the beloved daughter of the late William Norman and the late Shirley (Duncan) (Norman) Anderson.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Denise (Ekberg) Wergin and her husband Garrett; Dawn Ekberg, with whom she made her home, and her fiancé Edward Gamache; Susan (Ekberg) Robinson and her husband Barrie, of Mesa, AZ; Tracy (Ekberg) Delisle of Sanford, N.C.; her 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her sisters, Ruth Norman; Judy (Norman) Aubin of Florida; Nancy (Anderson) Breen and her husband Robert; Linda (Anderson) Salzer and her husband Thomas; her brothers, Robert Norman of Florida; David Anderson and his wife Diane, of South Caroline; and James Anderson of Naugatuck. In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa (Ekberg) Young; her son, Alan Ekberg; her granddaughter, Emily Ann Young; and her Brother Ronald Norman.
Carol’s family would like to thank the staff of All About You Home Care, The Glendale Center, and St. Mary’s Hospital for the care that they gave to Carol.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol’s memory can be made to: Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, Inc. 103 Vision Way, Bloomfield, CT 06002 and to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
