Obituary for Angelina "Angie" Ciarello

Angelina "Angie"  Ciarello
Naugatuck, CT Angelina “Angie” Ciarello, 95, the widow of Anthony S. Ciarello, died peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Angie was born on February 10, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late John and Grace (Guaragna) Rago and had lived in Queens, NY before moving to Naugatuck over 47 years ago. Angie was proud to live in Naugatuck, where she worked for 31 years at Sperry Automatics and was a parishioner of St. Vincent Ferrer Church. Angie had a great sense of humor and lived life with a passion; she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Angie’s greatest love was her family, especially her great grandchildren who were the lights of her life.
Angie is survived by her daughter, Sue Ciarello and her family, daughter Rachel Ciarello, Tony, and Rachel's children, Nicholas, Anthony and Michael and son Anthony Ciarello and his fiancé, Katrina; her son, Raymond Ciarello and his wife Laurie and their family, daughter Jeana Ciarello and Nick and their children, Carley and Elliana and daughter Alicia Ciarello; her sisters, Fannie Mutchko and Annie Anniello both of NJ and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Angie was predeceased by her siblings, Joe, Freddie, Elmer, Furey, Sonny, Louie, Jean, Lilly and Dee.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon and burial will be private.
