PROSPECT, CT Mary Lou Arcuri Favale, 66, the widow of John Leigh Favale, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Lou was born November 5, 1948 in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of Mary Matos Arcuri Donofrio, and the late Gabriel Frank Arcuri. Mary Lou attended local schools and graduated from Post Junior College in Waterbury. Mary Lou worked as an administrator in the Wolcott school system for many years. Mary Lou was a former member of the Wolcott Junior Women’s Club and a member of the Wolcott Women’s Club.
In addition to her mother of Naugatuck, Mary Lou is survived by her daughter Melissa L. Costanzo, her granddaughters Gabriella Costanzo and Gianna Costanzo all of Prospect, her brothers Peter Donofrio of Thomaston and Philip Arcuri and Gabriel Arcuri both of Naugatuck, several nieces, nephews, cousins and god children.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Seymour. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm. To honor Mary Lou’s memory, contributions may be made to the Susan G.
