NEW MILFORD — Jeffrey T. Yancoskie, 45, passed away on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Saint Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Yancoskie was born on Sept. 14, 1968, in Derby, a son of Jerome Yancoskie and Sandra Schramm. A 1986 graduate of Naugatuck High School, he was a sales associate for Danbury Auto Park. He enjoyed playing darts and following all the New York sports teams: Knicks, Giants and Yankees; but mostly, he enjoyed the company of his good friends.

Besides his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his two sons, Taylor and Sean Yancoskie, and his daughter, Alexis Yancoskie, and their mother, Jill. He is also survived by his sister, Stephanie Yancoskie, and her boyfriend, Jason Cook; and his brother, Gregory Yancoskie, and his wife, Viviane, and their children, Nicholas and Noah.

Jeffrey's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Saint Mary's Hospital, Xavier 3, and all of his friends for their unconditional and unending support.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Rte. 69, Prospect. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the start of the service.
